Hi - just taken delivery of ex demo C4e, the My Citroen app is telling me there is a touch screen and nav map update to install, have been trying most of yesterday following various instructions! The instructions refer to usb, but the car also has a usb c connection

Step 2: Removing Trim. 1. Start with door lever trim, lift up using small screwdriver at the bottom of the widest part, work your way round to the top then lift, there is tab at the narrow end. 2. Next remove the trim on the door handle, start lifting with a small screwdriver at the points shown in the picture. Just had a screen freeze. During a 25 minute journey I was scrolling through the radio station list when the screen froze. Tried all the usual things such as pressing all the other buttons, turning off manually etc. When stationary, at lights, tried switching off engine, removing key and then trying again. No luck.
I just bought a three year old C4 Exclusive +. Not exactly the same issue but after a day or two I noticed a fault line across the screen. I took it to a Citroen dealer, assuming my RAC Warranty I got with it might not cover hourly rate etc but.. Citroen are providing a new screen for nothing despite being out of manufacture warranty.

I'd go to a Citroen garage, and ask their parts department what screen should be fitted to your car. In the event the original screen is no longer made, they'll also provide the part number which supersedes it. It could be possible that Peugeot have indeed fitted the most current part for your car and it's Citroen downgrading their parts.
