I know that it has a USB-C port that displays video but I'm usually using a HDMI dongle that I have for the MacBook. The problem is, the USB ports that were supposedly made to connect keyboards and mouses are not working. I plug the computer via the dongle to the macbook but when I hit a keyboard via the USB port of the monitor, nothing happens. Thats why i'm thinking about some sort of adapter for the headphone jack to usb. JohnBonhamsGhost said: a type of converter like sizzling linked should have 2x USB output, one for the PC & one for the PS5. this way the headset can be connected to both at all times. you wouldn't need the monitor to be involved. You have to use the left side USB-C port. It's connected directly to the Nvidia GPU. The one on the right is just a USB connection with a type-C shaped port. That monitor won't charge the laptop via USB-C. That only happens if you're using a hub or docking station that has power delivery. RememberNobleGaming.
Also the non-C ports don't provide any juice unless at least something is connected to the USB-C port on the monitor at the same time. I'm guessing in order to use the monitor as a USB hub, first you need to connect a cable from the USB-C port directly to your PC's thunderbolt port. r/ultrawidemasterrace.

But since that doesn't work, I'm using straight HDMI and I'm limited to 3840x1080. Apple really messed something up in the 13.3 release. I'm having issues with my LG 38WN95C since the MacOS 13.3.1 update when connecting via USB-C. My MBP "16 2019 gets about 1 second of power, then disconnects, then reconnects then disconnects etc.

Step 6: Restore Factory Default Settings. Sometimes resetting your LG monitor to its factory settings is enough to get it back up and running. To reset your monitor, you will need to open the OSD main menu and navigate to the Factory Reset option. The navigation pathway can differ depending on the specific model you own.
